Thinking of learning Reiki? Here's what my students thought of their courses:

Reiki 1 course: I really enjoyed the whole course. I liked the fact that it was a small group. Your delivery of the course was just right - very informative but not too much to absorb. You have a very relaxed, friendly and caring teaching style. The course manual has been really helpful to refer to and remind myself about things. I thought the whole experience was very relaxing and enlightening. You answered all my questions - and there were a lot of them! Reiki 2 course: I enjoyed all of the course; it was an adventure, an awakening and an INCREDIBLE experience! The course was well-timed and planned and the delivery excellent. The course manual was excellent, a great idea to show 'how to draw the symbols' as it aids learning. I didn't realise just how much there was to learn in the two days, time went very quickly. Reiki 1 course: Thank you Heather for running this course, it was worth every penny! I enjoyed the whole weekend. Although I am not a very 'spiritual' person, the course gave me brilliant insight and knowledge into Reiki. No-one was judged or singled out, everyone was treated equally in a very informative and friendly way. The delivery of the course was very professional but in a warm and friendly way. It was good to learn about the history of Reiki as well as the hands-on stuff. The quality of the manual is excellent. It is easy to understand. After finishing the course I have often picked it up and used it for guidance and reassurance. When I read it I can still hear your voice which I find comforting and reassuring. I can't think of any ways that the course could be improved - a BIG compliment! I look forward to doing my self-healing each day, waiting with anticipation for the Reiki to flow more. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the whole weekend and it's one I will remember for ever! Heather was very welcoming, kind and with a professional air. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the whole Reiki 1 experience, from learning about its history/background, to being attuned, practising the self-healing and positions for other people, finishing with channelling Reiki to Heather as part of the group session. The relaxed and calm atmosphere allied with your warm and friendly yet professional approach was complemented by the style of delivery which was well structured and enabled me to absorb information at my own pace, ask questions and discuss things as we went along. The manual is easy to follow and understand. Clear pictures and illustrations showing the healing positions really help. A great reference tool to revisit whilst carrying out the self-healing sessions after the course finished. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the relaxed and friendly environment and small group. The material presented flowed well and the practical sessions were very helpful. Reiki 1 course: Thank you , Heather! This has been two days of my life I won't forget. I came away feeling quite humbled and not sure why, but I haven't stopped talking about it since! I really enjoyed the whole two days - the relaxed atmosphere and pace of the course. It was interesting listening to Heather's experiences of Reiki and realising its full potential. I thought the delivery of the course was very good. Very professional and confidently put across. Going through the hand positions as a group worked really well for me. Reiki 1 course: Simply an enormous thank you, although that sounds inadequate! I felt totally at home and at ease with you, Heather, and the other students starting right from the warm welcome. I enjoyed the non-classroom situation and your open attitude which gave me a feeling of freedom . The delivery was excellent, everything I had read in numerous books was more than covered in easy to understand terminology. Reiki 1 course: The whole weekend was a joy. It was a very enlightening experience, I was made to feel very welcome. The delivery of the course was very good. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the whole experience - from learning the history to being attuned, self-healing and treating Heather. The pace and delivery of the course was very good. The fact that everything was in the manual (which is excellent) was great because you could read through it again and again. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in Heather's house, I was made to feel very welcome and it felt very warm and inviting - must be the Feng Shui! I liked the informality and the fact that you could behave as if in your own home but at the same time we were learning and discussing all the time - not a moment was wasted. I liked the style of delivery - a lot of time was given to discussing personal experiences. Heather never seemed to rush us along or ignore our questions/observations and yet we still covered everything. The course manual is excellent! My husband has read it and was very impressed (and that is saying something!), he is going to read it again, which is even more amazing as I never asked him to read it in the first place! The lunch Heather provided was a very pleasant experience - so often one just takes sandwiches and it's all a bit miserable, but lunch was a special moment in the day. Reiki 1 course: The course was very good. Relaxing and thought provoking, it makes you reflect on yourself. I feel very excited about self-healing and what it can do for me. Reiki 1 course: Very interesting, my whole weekend was so relaxed and enjoyable. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed all aspects of the weekend. The attunements felt special and after being apprehensive about giving Reiki to Heather, I found it really amazing. The heat in my hands and arms was really intense and I could feel vibrations as I worked over the hips and ankle. It was really good to feel the energy coming through. The style of delivery was excellent. The days are well structured and the pace is good so it is easy to absorb the information. The manual is excellent - easy to understand and informative. The pictures showing how to heal oneself and give healing are very clear and easy to follow. It is practical with interesting background information, a great reference tool but also a pleasure to read. I don't feel anything could be improved! I really enjoyed the weekend. Heather was extremely welcoming and the environment was really conducive to learning Reiki. The course has had a profound effect on me. I certainly feel very different - calmer, confident, more at peace with the world. I feel myself smiling from the inside and believe I am a few steps nearer discovering my higher self. Reiki 2 course: Many thanks for a wonderful weekend of Reiki instruction. I enjoyed everything; you were warm, friendly, yet professional - what more could anyone ask for! Reiki 2 course: Dear I enjoyed the whole experience, it was especially relevant to helping me understand myself better at this moment in time. I also enjoyed the group Reiki where we practised on Heather - very enlightening! The course was delivered very well. It was thorough and clear, easy to follow and enjoyable. Nice to be able to talk about what was happening as we went along. The manual is very good - clear, concise, helpful and easy to read. Reiki 2 course: Dear I particularly enjoyed the attunements, they were amazing (an understatement!). The atmosphere of the course was wonderful, it proved to be a stunning 2 day course! The manual is very helpful, such a lot of essential information and I would not be without it. I am very thankful to you Heather for your expert guidance, tuition and teaching technique. I felt I needed second degree Reiki to strengthen and deepen my involvement and this was achieved with a most magical experience and feeling. My feet are still buzzing and the colours and more vivid! Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and that it was a small group. Heather put us all at our ease and at the same time maintained a professional air. I enjoyed the attunement and the look and feel of the treatment room. The delivery was good: helpful reference to the manual interspersed with personal experience and comment worked well. The course manual is excellent and extremely useful. Easy to read, systematic and comprehensive, it goes into appropriate detail and helps me to feel confident doing self treatments or treating others. Very thorough and informative e.g. it gives information on Reiki level 2 and Master level. I thought the course was very good value and it fulfilled my expectations. Reiki 1 course: Dear Heather, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us this weekend and enabling us to give and receive Reiki healing. You are a wonderful teacher as well as being gifted! I will never forget what I have learned and will treasure the experience. I don't think I realised just how tense, anxious and fearful I was but I now feel very calm and balanced, which I have never felt before - this is a wonderful state to be in. I'm relieved I'm not feeling euphoric as I know that wouldn't last. I will work on healing myself in order that I can maintain this special way of being. Thank you! Reiki 1 course: I particularly enjoyed the relaxed, open and inclusive atmosphere throughout, feeling my own calm and strength and at times, feeling serene. Heather's delivery of the course was excellent. I liked the balance of focus and humour and discussions were facilitated very well. The manual is excellent I am still finding it interesting and very useful. I thoroughly enjoyed the course; I found it to be motivating, inspiring and supportive. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed meeting like-minded people, the relaxed atmosphere in the house, the lunch(!), the whole course was a joy. Reiki 2 course: Dear I enjoyed learning about the symbols discovering what each symbol represents. I also enjoyed self-healing with the symbols. This method of learning is good as it allows time for questions after each section has been covered. This gave us full understanding of what we were being taught. I have found the Reiki 2 course manual very helpful and interesting to read. I would like to thank you, Heather, for everything in Reiki 2. Reiki 1 course: A relaxed, easy going, friendly and informal weekend with a lovely lunch. Orchard House is a relaxed and sacred space making it the perfect venue. The teaching was open and relaxed, there was time for questions and answers and Heather's approach was enthusiastic. The manual is very clear, informative yet doesn't overload you with unnecessary 'bumph'. It is user friendly and easy to refer to. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend. The rest of the group were a great bunch of people - I look forward to meeting up again in a month's time to see how we have all got on. I can't wait for level 2. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed receiving the attunements and opening my mind to an amazing experience! The style of delivery was very relaxed and easy to follow. Heather makes everyone feel very welcome. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the relaxing environment: the room in which the attunements were carried out, the music and the Reiki itself. The experience has changed my life; especially how I view life and my life's goal. The delivery of the course was very practical and efficient, it did not seem too long. Reiki 1 course: Wow! I am literally buzzing and tingling! The course proved to be intensely uplifting and energising, I got real enjoyment from it. I've always said, 'Happiness Rules' but had forgotten how real happiness used to feel. The course delivery was absolutely perfect. Every detail must have been well thought out beforehand, and therefore a lot of care out into it. The course manual is excellent. Lots of effort has been put into the manual, making it an essential part of the course and for future reference this is a necessity. The warm welcome from you, Heather, and your hospitality exceeded my expectations. I felt you could adjust and empathise with people, (which is something not everyone can do) and is most important. Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the theory and the practical side to learning Level One Reiki. It was both interesting and original and I'm really glad I did it! The style of learning would work for anyone, you're having a fantastic subject taught to you as well as a thorough guide to both practical and theory work. Nothing was missed out, it couldn't have been more detailed. The course manual is very detailed, well explained, with plenty of facts and good diagrams. All of my questions were answered. The practical demonstrations were really helpful and I feel confident about practising on friends. Every aspect was dealt with professionally. I would recommend this course without doubt as Heather is both friendly and professional and I feel really clear about Level One Reiki. Not only that, I've had a great time! Reiki 1 course: I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the small numbers; the sense of 'ceremony' when receiving the attunements. The easy directions to get to Heather's address allowed me to arrive relaxed and unflustered! I really enjoyed Heather's relaxed style, it made the learning easier. There was no pressure and it was great to be able to ask questions and to have the time to discuss them. The course manual is presented in a clear and concise fashion making it easy to refer to when wanting to question various aspects of Reiki. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, Heather's relaxed style of teaching made learning about Reiki and receiving the attunements a very special experience. I feel as though I have embarked upon a fascinating journey and look forward to Reiki 2. I would definitely recommend this course. Reiki Master Teacher course: A very well organised and knowledgeable course that was relaxing and enlightening. The course manual was detailed and in-depth but easy to read and understand. Reiki 1 course: The course was very informative and enjoyable. The small group is great as we were able to hear feedback from other people as well as make new friends! I was relaxed and made to feel welcome. The light lunch was filling and enjoyable, too! I enjoyed everything from learning the history in depth, Heather's experiences, precautions and hand positions, to making new friends. I think most enjoyable of all was giving Reiki to myself and Heather for the first time; feeling the heat instantly coming through and seeing the colours so vividly. Having the manual for reference and going through the sections aloud, allowing for our feedback and questions made the information sink in better. I feel having 2 days for the course is much better than trying to fit it all into 1 day. I have already recommended this course to another person! I am buzzing about it and Heather!
